A Glouster man has pleaded not guilty to felonious assault and involuntary manslaughter charges.

Gary Wooten, 20, is accused of killing Harley Pruitt, 22, of Buchtel last month.

Authorities have said the two were fighting at a residence in Chauncey, where the situation escalated from a verbal exchange to a fist fight.

Pruitt died a couple of days later.

Wooten's bond has been set at $40,000.

A jury trial is set for July 24.
