Buckeye Rural Electric Cooperative customers are now fully restored with power in the company's nine-county service area following the severe weather 10 days ago.

Member Services Manager Bryan Long says crews finished up work late Sunday night to the remaining people without electricity.

In the days following the storms on June 29, more than half of Buckeye Electric's 14,000 customers were powerless.

Long says the company encourages people to still report any outages to their hotline, particularly if neighbors nearby have power.

He says a storm in the area Sunday night could have cause additional outages, due to severe lightning.

The Buckeye Rural outage hotline number is 1-800-282-7204.
