Charges Filed In June Double Homocide
< < Back to charges-filed-june-double-homocideTwo Zanesville men have been charged with murder in connection with the shooting deaths of two victims at a Coventry Estates apartment in June.
Guernsey County Prosecutor Dan Paden and Sheriff Michael McCauley report that two individuals believed to be responsible for the shooting deaths of Christopher Morrison and Justain Nelson on June 24th of this year have been indicted.
One individual, 20-year-old Elgin Mitchell (Top) is in custody in the Muskingum County Jail.
The other individual, 22-year-old Tyler Burrell (Bottom) remains at-large.

Both Burrel and Mitchell have been indicted for the following charges:
Two counts of complicity to commit murder with gun specification;
Complicity to commit aggravated robbery with gun specification;
Complicity to commit aggravated burglary with gun specification;
Two counts of complicity to commit felonious assault with gun specification.
All charges are felony one offenses.
Earlier this summer, 23-year-old Megan Blanchard of Cambridge and 20-year-old Anjomo "Boomer" Churchill of Zanesville were charged with felony-one complicity to commit aggravated robbery.
Both have entered pleas and have been convicted of the offenses and will be sentenced at a later date.
Both Blanchard and Churchill are in custody in the Guernsey County Jail.
