Bank Robber Pleads Guilty

The man accused of robbing a Stockport bank last week has entered a guilty plea in Morgan County Common Pleas Court.
Bradley Divel of Cutler will be sentenced later.
He pleaded guilty for the August 7th robbery of the First National Bank.
Morgan County Sheriff Tom Jenkins says Divel was arrested 30 minutes after robbing the bank with a BB pistol, and cooperated with authorities throughout the investigation.
Sheriff Jenkins says Divel said he needed the money so his girlfriend and her daughters could have a place to live.
Divel also told authorities he had trouble finding a job since he had a felony conviction for stealing.
Divel said he stopped in Stockport after he ran out of gas and that's when he decided to rob the bank.
