Ohio Football Receives New Commit
< < Back to ohio-football-receives-new-commitOhio University football has received an oral commitment from Baldwin High School (PA) running back Dorian Brown. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported earlier today that Brown made his decision to go with Ohio over other offers from Buffalo, Akron and Navy.
“I liked the atmosphere, the campus is pretty nice,” Brown said in an interview with the Tribunes Kevin Gorman.
The 5-foot-11-inch, 200-pound running back chose to join the ‘Cats after visiting them during the win over Akron two weeks ago.
Brown’s decision ultimately came down to either Navy or Ohio. Through eight games this season for Baldwin High School Brown has amassed nearly 900 yards and 10 touchdowns on 129 carries. Scout.com, a national recruiting database, has Brown ranked as the 106th overall running back in the 2013 recruiting class. Brown is the 15th commitment Ohio has received overall and the first runningback for its 2013 recruiting class.
