Tri-Valley Ends Regular Season Undefeated

The Scotties were looking to complete their first ever perfect season in school history and win the outright MVL title over the rival Electrics team who was looking for the upset and chance to sneak into the playoffs.
The Scotties would not suffer anything resembling a setback, pummeling Philo 56-14.
On the first drive of the game the Scotties showed they were not going be denied as Hunter Mohler picked off a fourth down fake punt pass. After the pick, the Scotties capitalized on the Electrics mistake as Player of the Year candidate Austin Jones scored on a 2-yard run to put the Scotties up 7-0 late in the first. After a quick three-and-out from the Electrics, Nathan Strock found Trevor Krouskoupf for a 9-yard touchdown to put the Scotties up 14-0 early in the second quarter.
Austin Jones showed why he is a force to be reckon with, as he scored his second and third touchdown on the night with a 1-and-2-yard runs to make it 28-0 Scotties. Jones finished the night with 152 yards on 17 attempts, scoring four times.
Philo showed its resiliency after a couple three-and-outs Philo corner back Hunter Smith picked off Tri-Valley quarterback Nathan Strock for a touchdown to make the score 28-7 Tri-Valley going into halftime. Jones took away the momentum early in the second half to make it 35-7 Scotties, putting the game out of reach. Tri-Valley's offense appeared to be too much for the Electrics defense as they outgained Philo 452 to 181 in total yards on the night.
Next up for Tri-Valley are the playoffs. They are now anxiously awaiting finding who they will be hosting, as they have clinched a home game in the first round.
