The high football coach who inspired the movie "Remember the Titans" will be at Ohio University on Saturday.

Herman Boone will speak about his real life experience as head coach of the T.C. Williams Titans.

In 1971, the city of Alexandria, Virginia integrated its school system with black and white students.

Boone, who is black, was picked as head coach of the integrated team over legendary coach Bill Yost, who was white.

The Titans were ranked second in the nation at the end Boone's first season.

He will be speaking at 7 p.m. in the Baker Ballroom.

Ohio University will also be showing the movie "Remember the Titans" before and after his speech at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The event is free, but seating is first come first serve.
