Men’s Basketball: Ohio Signs Fourth Recruit of 2013 Class
< < Back toThen there were four. Ohio Men’s Basketball received their fourth and final official signing for the 2013 recruiting class yesterday when it signed Wadley Mompremier of Miami Senior High School in Florida.
Mompremier, a 6-foot-9-inch center, was the final of four oral commitments to sign; joining guard D.J Wingfield and forwards Antonio Campbell and Maurice Ndour.
An athletic big man, Mompremier chose Ohio over Cleveland State, Massachusetts, Northwestern and Wyoming.
Ohiobobcats.com announced the signing last night, repeated attempts by the Showcase to reach Mompremier or his coach were unsuccessful.
The 2013 recruiting class, the first for new head coach Jim Christian, is one built on athleticism and size. The four recruits, all who will be eligible to play next season, will be joined by transfers Javarez Willis and Treg Setty, both of whom are sitting out this season due to NCAA transfer regulations.
