Barbara Mincks was an education management information systems coordinator.
The state auditor's office says Mincks manipulated and falsified financial records for the purpose of committing theft and stole more than $145,000 over a period of five years.
Sheriff's detectives say Mincks admitted to stealing from the district when they questioned her earlier this year.
The theft in office charge is a third degree felony.
