Golden Buckeye Helping Ohioans Be Savvy Holiday Shoppers On Facebook

While the holiday is approaching, tips for holiday shopping are now at Ohioans’ fingertips.
The Golden Buckeye program offers a daily tip on its page on Facebook through December.
It offers not only daily advice about comparison shopping and finding discounts, but also things consumers can do to keep themselves and their money safe, whether they are shopping at the mall, by phone or online.
The Golden Buckeye program is operated by Ohio Department of Aging, which aims at better serve all Ohio seniors age 60 or order, as well as 18-59 who have disabilities.
ODA spokesman John Ratliff says the holiday shopping tips can benefit all Ohioans.
“We are trying using the Facebook Page to build our audiences, during the December. All the information can help people in Ohio be savvy shoppers,” Ratliff says.
