An exciting game took place tonight on the Trimble Tomcats' home court when they took on the Miller Falcons. It was a tight game until the very end, when Trimble went on an impressive run to pull out a 75-64 win.

The top three players for Trimble tonight were Jake Kish, Jacob Koons and Cody Bragg.

Bragg was the strongest under the net, garnering six rebounds and a total of 12 points. Kish led the team in scoring with a total of 16 points. Koons was right behind him putting up a total of 15 points for the night.

Miller kept the Tomcats on their toes and the two players that pushed the hardest were Elijah Rader and Skylar Hook. Hook had a total of 16 points and five rebounds, while Rader put up 13 points and grabbed six total rebounds. The Falcon’s played a strong game but it just wasn’t enough to hold up to the dominant Tomcats.

While happy with the win, head coach Curt Moore thought that his defense could use a little work.

“We did a pretty nice job early in our defense effort then hit some walls and had some transition problems with defense and we gave up a little too many offensive rebounds,” he said.

However, overall he was impressed that his team could pull out a win, especially one with a double-digit margin. “Win by one, that’s all we want to do and we won by 11 so we’re happy with that,” coach Moore said.

Trimble hits the road for their next game when they take on Federal Hocking on December 14.
