The Washington County Sheriff's Office says they've tased and arrested a drunk man who barricaded himself inside his home for seven hours.

The sheriff's office says 48-year-old Kevin Bartlett barricaded himself in his home in Grandview Township.

Deputies responded to the call Tuesday night.

Bartlett was taken into custody early Wednesday morning.

Officers say he fired shots, but not directly towards anyone.

Bartlett did threaten to harm himself.

Special Response Team officers tased Bartlett after he refused to cooperate.

He's charged with using weapons while under disability, a third degree felony, and a misdemeanor count of using weapons while intoxicated.

Bartlett is in custody at the Washington County Jail.
