Man Charged With Rape Of Three Sisters
< < Back toUPDATE 4:13 P.M. A Scioto County man accused of raping three young girls pleaded not guilty to each of the three felony counts against him.
Michael Lockheart, 51, appeared in Portsmouth Municipal Court Wednesday.
Lockheart was arrested Tuesday by New Boston police for allegedly raping three sisters, ages 5, 6 and 8.
Police say the investigation began last month when the parents of the children told police of several incidents between 2002 and 2009.
Lockheart was reportedly a friend of the family and lived with the victims' grandmother.
He is scheduled for a first appearance in Portsmouth Municipal on January 24 at 10 a.m.
Lockheart is currently being held at the Scioto County Jail on $100,000 bond for each count.
