Fatal Accident In Marietta

A woman is dead after her car went off the road and into a creek.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Virginia Lockhart, 62, went off the left side of the road, hit a tree, and landed her car on its top in a creek.
It happened a little before 11:30 a.m. Sunday on Hadley Hollow Road in Marietta.
Troopers said she was driving too fast and that weather conditions were not a factor.
Drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
The road was closed for nearly two hours because of the crash.
