Although the Lady Tomcats were handed a tough loss, there were many bright spots. Sophomore Tia Altier delivered an outstanding performance for the Lady Tomcats, falling one board short of a triple-double. While scoring 11 points, Altier was able to dish out 10 assists and grab nine rebounds.
In addition to Altier’s tremendous effort, freshman Nikki Kish led the Lady Tomcats with 14 points and five rebounds. With the lost, Trimble falls to 6-14. Even though it’s been a tough season for the Lady Tomcats, the youthful Altier and Kish showed a promising future in the next few years to come.
