Third Suspect In Coolville Home Invasion Robbery Pleads Guilty
< < Back to third-suspect-coolville-home-invasion-robbery-pleads-guiltyThe third of four alleged attackers of an 81-year old Coolville woman will be spending the next 15 years in prison.
According to the Athens County Prosecutor’s Office, Colin Wayne Stout was sentenced by Judge Michael Ward Monday after pleading guilty to a multiple count indictment.
Stout changed his plea during his final pre-trial hearing. His trial was scheduled to start February 26.
In the news release Prosecutor Keller Blackburn said “ two of the co-defendants, including Colin Stout, entered the residence without permission, assaulted the resident and stole items from her home.”
In January of last year, Ota Vincent, 81, was beaten and stabbed inside her home and had to undergo months of rehabilitation.
Police arrested four suspects in September 2012, Colin Stout, Cody Stout, Christopher Fleming and Brandon Baker.
Last December, Christopher Fleming was sentenced to nine years and nine months in prison.
Cody Stout was sentenced to nine years and nine months in prison in last November.
Brandon Baker is scheduled for a jury trial February 19.
