Huntington Fire Department To Get New Chief

The Huntington Fire Department will soon have a new chief.

Mayor Steve Williams says Carl Eastham will take over on Monday as interim chief.

Eastham is a member of the department and has been the Union President of the local Firefighter's Association for 17 years.

Current chief Randy Ellis will return to his former role as Captain.

City council will vote on Eastham's appointment on February 25.
