OU Student Stabbed, Suspect At Large

Athens police were continuing their search Saturday morning for a person who stabbed an Ohio University student early Saturday morning.
An APD news release reported Michael R. Gallas, 22, received several stab wounds shortly after 2:00 a.m. at Courtside Pizza on North Court Street.
As of 5:00 a.m. police had not located the suspect described as 5'10" with brown/blond hair and wearing a white polo.
The suspect was last seen running north on N. Court St. toward W. Carpenter St.
Gallas was treated at the scene and transported to O'Bleness Memorial Hospital.
