Ohio's leader is Byron Firestone, who is tied for ninth with a score of 71 and was six strokes under his closest teammate, Connor Coldwater. Firestone is also only three strokes behind the leader Nathan Kearns of Marshall. It was Firestone’s second time scoring a 71 this season, as he continues to lead the team as a senior leader for the Bobcats.

The men will play Pinehurst No. 2 on Monday, which will host the 2014 men's U.S. Open.
