Teenage Girls Charged With Threatening Steubenville Rape Victim

Two teenage girls face charges for allegedly threatening the victim in the Steubenville rape trial.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine said the two girls were arrested late Monday afternoon for making threats via Twitter.

The Steubenville girls, ages 15 and 16 are in the Jefferson County Juvenile Detention Center.

The 16-year-old is charged with one misdemeanor count of aggravated menacing for threatening the life of the victim, and the 15-year-old is charged with one misdemeanor count of menacing for threatening bodily harm to the victim.
