Public Cleanup Set For Dow Lake
< < Back to public-cleanup-set-dow-lakeFriends of Strouds Run State Park and Touch the Earth Adventures will be hosting the Strouds Run Spring Shoreline Cleanup on Saturday, April 6 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Volunteers are needed on land and on water to clean up Dow Lake in preperation for Spring. The park and Touch the Earth Adventures will be providing gloves, trash grabbers, trash bags and a limited amount of kayaks, boats and canoes. Volunteers are also encouraged to bring their own equipment.
Those who plan on attending should meet at the boat ramp beside the Strouds run boathouse between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. Music and refreshments will be provided during this time, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own snacks, water, sunglasses and wide-brimmed hats.
