Ohio Track Finishes Fifth In All-Ohio Outdoor Championships

Melissa Thompson led Ohio in day two of the competition. She won the 1,500-meter run, the Bobcats’ lone victory on the day and placed third in the 5,000-meter run.
Kayla Scott and Krista Roehlig also earned Ohio points in the 5,000-meter run by finishing sixth and seventh, respectively.
Chanda Cuckler earned 1.5 points by finishing seventh in the high jump, scoring the only points in field events.
In the final event of the day, the 4×400 meter relay, the Ohio team of Kiley Mathews, Kara Jackson, Karissa Conrad, and Danielle Winningham scored a point by finishing in seventh.
Ohio looks to get back on track next weekend, April 19-20, in Columbus, Ohio, at the Jesse Owens open.
