Possibility Of Severe Weather For The Region

The National Weather Service is urging people in parts of the region to be on alert for the possibility of severe weather during the afternoon and evening hours on Tuesday.
A severe thunderstorm watch was issued for Lawrence County until 10 p.m. Tuesday.
The NWS also issued a special weather statement for parts of central Ohio that includes Pickaway, Licking, Franklin and Fairfield counties.
The statement said a strong thunderstorm will affect that area.
The NWS said it would issue a thunderstorm warning if the storm becomes stronger.
