On this edition of Conversations from Studio B, host Joan Butcher talks with Mary Kate Gallagher, Grant Thompson, Paige Ludwin and Christy Jenkins about issues of accessibility at Ohio University.

Gallagher, Thompson and Ludwin discuss some difficulties they’ve encountered as students at Ohio University, as well as some accommodations the university offers to all students.

“We work with students with a variety of different disabilities to help provide access through academic accommodations in the classroom. So we serve students here on the Athens campus and we are also in the process of working with students on regional campuses as well”, says Jenkins, an Advisor of Disabilities Services at Ohio University.

During the summer of 2013, Disabilities Services at Ohio University will be changing its name to Student Accessibility Services.
