National Weather Service Confirms Ohio Tornadoes

Forecasters have confirmed three tornadoes touched down in Henry County, one in Wood County, and one in Van Wert County during the storms Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Officials say the first to touch down was an EF-0 tornado in Willshire in Van Wert County with maximum winds of about 80 mph.
The strongest was an EF-1 tornado, near Malinta in Henry County. It had wind gusts of 95 mph.
Forecasters say the same storm produced an EF-0 tornado in Malinta, an EF-0 tornado near Hamler in Wood County and an EF-0 tornado in Custar in Wood County.
The Weather Service says its reports are preliminary.
