Power Restored To Counties Impacted By Storms

UPDATE 10:23 a.m. Power crews have restored power to an estimated 441 Athens county customers left in the dark overnight after storms moved thought the area.
According to a spokesperson for American Electric Power the outage occured around 1 a.m. Monday.
Power was restored around 10 a.m.
An estimated 441 Athens County residents were without power Monday morning.

The outages occurred after severe thunderstorms came through the region.
