For the fourth installment in our Sessions @ WOUB series, we are proud to present the internationally acclaimed California Guitar Trio.

Formed in 1991, the group is well-known for its mix of classical and original compositions and re-workings of surf-rock tunes and classic rock favorites (such as The Doors' "Riders on the Storm," featured in this video).

Hideyo Moriya, Bert Lams and Paul Richards first met in 1987 as members of Robert Fripp's League of Crafty Guitarists.

Since then, the group has toured throughout the world, had its music featured on various TV network programs and shared the stage with such acts as King Crimson, Tito Puente, Taj Mahal and John McLaughlin.

Sessions @ WOUB is a co-production of WOUB Public Media and the School of Media Arts & Studies at Ohio University.
