Gridiron Glory Returns Aug. 23

The season premiere "Preview Show" will be broadcast on WOUB at 11:30 p.m. The show will then air live each subsequent Friday night until Nov. 22.
Gridiron Glory is entering its 15th season on the heels of a successful night at the 2013 Ohio Valley regional Emmy® awards. The show captured its second-straight Emmy® award for student production Saturday night at the Ohio Valley Regional Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' annual event in Cincinnati. Gridirion has won five such Emmys® in 14 seasons.
The 15th season of Gridiron Glory will feature Keith Turner, an Ohio University senior broadcast journalism major, as its host. Turner has spent the last two seasons covering the TVC-Hocking as a regular reporter for the show.
Gridiron also plans to expand its presence on social media with continued use of Twitter and Facebook and the addition of an Instagram account. The show is encouraging fans to join in using the Twitter hashtag #TheGlory13 in anticipation for the upcoming season.
Gridiron will begin online coverage of area high schools' preseason "two-a-day" practices when training camps open Aug. 5.
