Johnson Road Closes For Repairs

Athens County Road 7 (Johnson) will close Thursday morning, and remain closed for about a week, so that repairs can be made.
County Engineer Jeff Maiden said crumbling pavement will be fixed, including recontructing part of the road. The road provides access to Athens High School, and Maiden said he wants to get the work completed before the school year starts.
