Ndour Named MAC Player Of The Week
< < Back to ndour-named-mac-player-weekOhio’s junior forward Maurice Ndour has been named Mid-American Conference East Division Player of the Week. This is the first time Ndour has been rewarded this title. Fellow teammate and senior guard Nick Kellogg earned the title last week.
Ndour averaged 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 56.5 percent (13-23) from the field in two games for Ohio this week. Ndour had a career best of 23 points and personal bests in steals (four) and blocks (five) from Sunday’s match against Valparaiso.
Scoring eight of his 10 points during Tuesday’s game against Ohio State, Ndour helped the Bobcats make a comeback and move within five points of the nationally-ranked Buckeyes. Ndour also snagged nine rebounds against Ohio State.
Ohio (2-1) challenges Morgan State (0-3) on Wednesday. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. in Baltimore, Md.
