The Ohio Bobcats will be heading to Honolulu, Hawaii, next season to compete in the 2014-15 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic.
The entire field of the tournament is not known yet, as there are still two teams that have not been announced. However, Colorado, George Washington, Nebraska and Wichita State have been announced.
Every team will play one game a day. Then the two teams that are undefeated will square off in the championship game.
The field for next year’s tournament is rather strong, as Wichita State is currently ranked No. 11 in the country, and Colorado is ranked No. 20. Four of the teams in the field qualified for the 2012-13 NCAA Tournament as well.
In the meantime, Ohio will play against Longwood at home Dec. 30. That game is scheduled to tip-off at 7 p.m.
