Cambridge Man Charged With Killing Pizza Delivery Driver To Appear In Court

Adam Charles Burris is charged with murder in the slaying of 26-year-old Kayla Thompson of Cambridge.
Burris is being held on $1 million bond. His attorney, Andrew Warhola, didn't immediately return a message seeking comment Thursday.
Authorities in Guernsey County say Thompson didn't return from a delivery to Burris' home on Dec. 26. The sheriff says Burris was later taken into custody and led authorities to Thompson's body near a boat ramp at Dillon State Park in neighboring Muskingum County.
Burris' next municipal court date is a preliminary hearing Tuesday in Cambridge.

A judge set bond at $1 million for Adam Charles Burris at his video arraignment Monday in municipal court in Cambridge. The hearing was continued until Thursday so that the 32-year-old Cambridge man could talk with an attorney. None appeared for him at the arraignment.
