Cabell, Jackson County Judges Appointed

Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin has filled two judicial vacancies in Cabell and Putnam counties.
Tomblin issued executive orders this week appointing Cabell County prosecutor Chris Chiles as a Cabell County Circuit Court judge and Deloris J. Nibert as a family court judge in Putnam County.
Chiles replaces David Pancake, who retired Jan. 31.
Nibert had served as an interim Putnam County Family Court judge since William Watkins resigned in November 2013 after being accused of misconduct. She is a former family court judge in Mason and Jackson counties.
Both judgeships will be on the November general election ballot.
