Rio Baseball Drops Two Saturday

The Rio Grande RedStorm baseball team was swept by the Madonna University Crusaders in a doubleheader Saturday.

The RedStorm dropped the first contest 7-1 and fell in the second game 4-3. The two losses drop Rio Grande to 2-6 on the season. Madonna improves to 3-1 on the year.

The RedStorm next take the field Feb. 15 when they take on Roosevelt University at VA Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe.
