Perry County Courthouse Reopens

The Perry County Courthouse is back open following an evacuation prompted by a bomb threat today.
Sheriff Randy Barker says they received a tip from the New Lexington Sheriff's Office around 12:30 this afternoon.
A bomb sniffing dog from the Muskingum County sheriff's office was called in.
Fire and EMS crews from New Lexington also assisted Sheriff's Deputies with a sweep of the building.
Barker says no devices were found.
