Extensive Operation Leads to Major Seizure of K2
< < Back to extensive-operation-leads-major-seizure-k2A prolonged K2 operation resulted in the arrest of 34 year old Robert “Rob” Oakley, III and the seizure of approximately eleven pounds of synthetic marijuana, or K2.
The Wood County ACE unit and the Washington County Major Crimes Task Force made the arrest at 4114 14th Avenue, Parkersburg.
Oakley sold approximately one pound of K2 to undercover agents of the MCTF in the Marietta area. Oakley then left and was stopped on State Route 7 near Catfish Paradise.
Oakley then admitted to selling the drugs and making $40,000 in the last six months.
Information obtained through a search warrant of the 14th Avenue, Parkersburg address led to the confiscation of an additional ten pounds of marijuana.
A 2013 Chevy Camaro and a 2004 Dodge Ram Truck were also seized by law enforcement agents.
The investigation is ongoing and other arrests could be made.
