People who start an application by Monday can enroll for this year in the insurance marketplaces created by President Barack Obama's law.
The latest enrollment numbers covering Oct. 1 through March 1 showed that almost 79,000 Ohioans have picked private plans through the so-called exchanges.
The federal data shows that many Ohio residents obtaining coverage in the marketplace are older. Eighty-five percent of enrollees are getting financial help to pay their monthly premiums.
The head of the Ohio Association of Foodbanks says its received increased calls for help in applying for health coverage.
