Young Girl Dies after Crash in Pike County, KY.

SHELBIANA, KY. — A youg girl died Thursday in a two vehicle acccident on U.S. 460 in the Shelbiana Community of Pike County.
6-year-old Kyla Fouts passed away from injuries today after being air lifted from the scene of the crash yesterday.
Kentucky State Police say Katherine Kilgore came upon a stopped vehicle whilst driving on U.S 460 in the Westbound lane.
Kilgore attempted to avoid the vehicle but crossed the centerline into the eastbound lane, crashing into a vehicle operated by Dedra Fouts of Virgie, Kentcuky.
Kilgore and Dedra Fouts, and a third passenger from Fouts' vehicle were transported to Pikeville Medical Center for injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
