Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine's office said the Strategies to End Youth Homelessness Symposium on Tuesday will "provide an opportunity to define the scope of the problem of youth homelessness and develop strategies and solutions to deal with the issue."
Around 100 people from victim services agencies from around the state are expected to attend.
State-funded programs serving homeless youth have reported assisting 10,000 to 12,000 people per year.
The afternoon event is at the Ohio Fire Academy in the Columbus suburb of Reynoldsburg.
