West Union Street Construction Update
< < Back to west-union-street-construction-updateCity of Athens Press Release – In preparation for paving activities, on Monday the contractor for the West Union Street rehabilitation project plans to complete curb milling work on West Union between Depot Street and South Congress Street. Parking on the street will be prohibited while milling is completed. On-street parking will be returned as soon as possible.
The contractor will also be completing concrete roadway repairs to West Union near the Depot Street intersection. The work will necessitate the westbound lane of West Union Street to be closed between Depot Street and South High Street between approximately 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
