1.) Athens Bulldogs (5-0, 2-0)

After five weeks, the Athens Bulldogs are showing no signs of slowing down, so long as Trae Williams, Joe Burrow and Ryan Luehrman continue to torch opposing defenses. The Bulldogs are blowing out their opponents by an average of 49 points per game and are clicking on all cylinders.

2.) Meigs Marauders (3-2, 2-0)

After a shaky start to the season, the Marauders appear to have found their groove over the past two weeks with two crucial wins. With a dominant rushing attack, led my senior running back Michael Davis, Meigs has the ability to put up points in a hurry.

3. Nelsonville-York Buckeyes (3-2, 1-0)

After a three game winning streak, the Buckeyes will look to return to form after a crushing defeat to Logan. Standing at 1-0 in conference play, they control their own destiny in the TVC-Ohio.

4. Alexander Spartans (3-2, 1-1)

Streaky is definitely a word that could be used to describe the Spartans, who have both a two game winning streak and a two game losing streak so far this season. The Spartans were able to find their groove in a win over Wellston, where they accumulated 445 total offensive yards.

5. Wellston Golden Rockets (2-3, 0-1)

The Golden Rockets may have a losing record, but they showed improvement in their loss to Alexander, racking up 393 offensive yards. Quarterback Braydon Womeldorf had yet another impressive performance, passing for 147 yards and adding 111 more on the ground.

6. River Valley (3-2, 0-2)

The Raiders may only be two weeks removed from a 3-0 start, but that undefeated start seems like a distant memory.  River Valley lost its previous two games by a combined score of 77-35. This is a far cry from the defense that allowed only 31 points in the team’s first three games.

7.  Vinton County (0-5, 0-2)

The Vikings continue to struggle after a crushing 61-14 loss to the Athens last week.  However, winnable games against Alexander, Federal Hocking and River Valley lie ahead.
