WV Public Broadcasting Receives $750,000 Grant
< < Back toThe federal government has awarded a $750,000 grant to the West Virginia Educational Broadcasting Authority to upgrade infrastructure.
The funding will be used to transition the authority's television studio in Beckley from analog to high definition digital equipment. The authority also plans to expand programming for schools and communities in the region and to enhance production quality.
U.S. Rep. Nick Rahall announced the grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Utilities Service on Wednesday.
