DAS said the state paid $113.5 million in overtime pay last year compared to $111.2 million in 2013.
The state says a Department of Mental Health psychiatrist was the top state wage earner with $394,704.94, of which $218,432.50 was overtime.
The state payroll last year was $2.963 billion, compared to $2.960 billion in 2013.
