Heroin Recovery Program Gets More State Money
< < Back to heroin-recovery-program-gets-more-state-moneyA pilot project to support heroin recovery is getting a financial boost in northwest Ohio.
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine plans to be in Toledo on Monday to announce new grant funding for Lucas County to help the pilot program.
The money is in addition to the $650,000 in state funds given to the program last year to help develop it.
Those involved with the project are expected to provide an update, along with a tour of a recovery housing facility that got most of the previous grant to pay for renovations.
DeWine will be at the facility at 10 a.m. Monday.
