Third Person Named in Drug Ring Pleads Guilty

A third defendant involved in a heroin and cocaine trafficking ring in Athens County has pleaded guilty and agreed to testify against the others allegedly involved.
Kelly Marie Cox, 44, of Glouster, pleaded guilty to a single count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity at a hearing on Wednesday. The charge carries a maximum sentence of 11 years in prison.
As part of the agreement, Cox would be subject to possible additional charges if she violates the terms of the arrangement.
