Local Veterans Oral History Project Looking for Stories

Monday, August 10 is Veterans Day at the Athens County Fair; it’s also the day WOUB will be asking local veterans to share their personal stories on camera.

WOUB’s Susan Tebben and Chris Riddle will be working with OU students to record the important memories of those who served in America’s Armed Forces

The Athens County Fair is free on Monday for veterans who bring proof of service.

Susan Tebben will be inside the Fairgrounds’ Grange Building from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. –  Chris Riddle will be there from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
