< < Back to voter-registration-in-ohio-ends-mondayCOLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Ohioans who want to cast a ballot in the fall election have until Monday to register to vote or update their voter information.
The Nov. 3 election includes three statewide ballot initiatives.
One issue would legalize marijuana for medical reasons and recreational use, while another seeks to prevent monopolies from being inserted into the state constitution. A separate measure would overhaul how state legislative districts are drawn.
Secretary of State Jon Husted says residents also will decide the outcome of more than 1,700 local issues, including levies for police and fire services as well as school funding.
Military and overseas voters have already started to get their absentee ballots. Other Ohioans can begin voting absentee by mail or in person on Tuesday.
