The Dallas Mavericks cut Maurice N’Dour on Monday to finalize their official 15-man roster.

The Mavericks made previous cuts on Saturday to get down to 16 players on the roster, but took the two extra days to debate over N’Dour’s value. Yet in the end, he was cut loose.

N’Dour realistically had the opportunity to make the roster, but got hurt halfway through.

He still has a chance to get picked up off waivers—including the New York Knicks, who he played for in the Summer League and who have a spot left open on their roster.

N’Dour had an impressive season last year when he played for the Ohio University Bobcats in the NCAA. He has a whopping 502 rebounds, 317 free throws made and scored a total of 977 points in his career.
