Ohio Hockey Falls to No. 9 in ACHA Rankings

The Bobcats have had a rough two weeks on the ice. They headed into the weekend of October 16 undefeated at 8-0-0, but left it winless. In Bird Arena, the Lindenwood Lions, whom are ranked third in the country, beat the ‘Cats in a shootout Friday and would went to sweep the two-game, weekend series.
Ohio traveled to Champagne, Illinois, over the weekend to battle the 17th ranked Fighting Illini. The Bobcats lost their first road game of the season on Saturday, but bounced back on Sunday to split the series and raise their record to 9-2-1.
Ohio has still outscored its opponents 59-19 while scoring goals on 34 percent of all shots. On top of that, they have allowed more than two goals only three times this season.
The Bobcats next matchup will be during Halloween weekend when they take on the Liberty Eagles (3-4-0) in Lynchburg, Virginia, in efforts to get back on good footing.
