Ohio field hockey received four Mid-American Conference postseason honors for the 2015 season.
Senior Adele Sammons and sophomore Maria Russell were selected to the All-MAC First Team, while senior Clarissa Leickly and freshman Kendall Ballard were named to the All-MAC Second Team.

Through 17 matches, Sammons has nine goals and 11 assists, good enough to put her on the first team for the second straight season. Russell, who is tied for the league lead in goals per game, is making her first appearance on an all conference team.

Like Russell, this is Leickly and Ballard’s first appearance in the postseason awards. Leickly capped off her career with six goals, her most in any season at Ohio. Ballard was only one of two freshman to be named to an all conference team.

The fourth-seeded Bobcats play Kent State, the top team in the tournament, on Friday at 11:30 am. A win sends them to the conference championship on Saturday, where they would play the winner of the Miami and Missouri State matchup.
